This is the perfect place to stay to experience so much of what Northern Arizona offers! We are conveniently located 86 miles from the Grand Canyon to the north, and 88 miles from Sedona to the south. No. The occupancy limit is 10 guests and may not be exceeded for overnight stays without express written permission of Camp Picacho, LLC. Children are counted in total occupancy unless they are under the age of two. Sleeping bags or air mattresses may not be brought in and NO campers or motor homes will be allowed to park on the rental property for the purpose of adding extra sleeping space. If additional guests are found to be on the property during your stay, you will asked to leave the property and the damage deposit will be forfeit.
Large gatherings, graduation parties, showers, celebrations, barbecues, catered meals, or any occasion that brings extra guests and/or cars onto the property is considered to be a “party” or an “event”. Events MUST be disclosed to and approved by Camp Picacho, LLC in advance and is subject to a $150 Event Fee.
We are no longer able to accomodate early check-ins and late check-outs due to the new COVID-19 cleaning protocols. Early check-in requests are often not granted due to cleaning times. Late check outs will incur a $50 fee.
We absolutely love pets, we have dogs ourselves. However, in order to maintain cleanliness, we ask that you do not bring your pet with you. No dogs or animals allowed on the property please. Bringing a pet without authorization forfeits your damage deposit and you will be asked to check-out early without a refund.
Yes, we do! We use Starlink which is suited for areas where connectivity has been unreliable or completely unavailable. Download speeds range from 50MB to 200MB depending on connectivity. Upload speeds can range between 10MB to 20MB.
We are equipped with the basics such as: sheets and bath towels, pillows, bedspreads, blankets, pots, pans, dishes, and flatware. In addition, we provide a "starter amount" of toilet paper and paper towels. Pack your favorite food for the grill and your must have beverages! We suggest packing a bluetooth speaker if you have one, and be sure to pack items for s’mores around the fire pit! We have a gas fire pit so no need for firewood but bring some if you'd like to use our wood firepit. During the winter, pack lots of layers and hand/foot warmers for your gloves and boots so you can enjoy the outdoors for longer when it’s chilly out. Bring shoes/boots with good grip since it can get slippery.

You’re in luck! Your hosts have spent countless hours writing and designing a comprehensive welcome guide for you to reference during your stay. It is jam packed with history about the area, things to do, how to use certain amenities within the cabin, etc. We want you to be able to spend less time Googling and more time out exploring. Upon booking your reservation, you will be sent a PDF version of the guide so you can start planning your trip. There is also a physical copy of it in your cabin for you to use during your stay.

However, we cannot be responsible for items left behind and we cannot guarantee items reported will be returned. Items that are unclaimed after 30 days will be donated to a local charity.
No. Guests are instructed not to clean or launder any items upon their departure. Our housekeeping team follows very strict cleaning and sanitation standards and is required to clean the cabin after each guest vacates.
